Introduction

LSE Ventures Limited (PSX Ticker: LSEVL) has been created from the successor company of former Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) to provide late-stage capital to such companies needing critical financing for bootstrapping their future operations.

Together with the primary responsibility of managing the legacy investments in key capital market infrastructure companies having been made during the company’s existence as a stock exchange, the company had been set to fulfill the expanded mandate of investing in positive cash flow generating emerging companies by way of equity, preference shares and other private financing instruments.

Unlike traditional venture capital firms, LSE Ventures aims to invest only in such well-managed companies, which already have a somewhat successful commercial record and demonstratable future growth strategy.

LSE Ventures’ portfolio of investee companies includes Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (PACRA), National Clearing Corporation of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL), Central Depository Company (CDC), Pakistan Gas Port Limited (PGPL), Berlitz Pakistan and Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX).
